Protect your Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace accounts
Most breaches at small firms start with one stolen password and a quiet inbox rule. Protect Identity watches for that with Huntress ITDR, and keeps a separate backup of your mail and files with Axcient x360Cloud.
On most cyber insurance applicationsDo you enforce multi-factor authentication for all remote access to email?
What's included
- Huntress ITDR. Watches every account for sign-ins from unusual places, anonymizing VPNs, stolen session tokens, and the inbox rules attackers create to hide their tracks.
- Response, not just alerts. When an account looks taken over, it can be locked and its sessions ended while we investigate with you.
- Axcient x360Cloud backup. Mail, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams for Microsoft 365, or Gmail, Drive, Calendar and Contacts for Google Workspace, backed up outside Microsoft and Google.
- Point-in-time restores. Bring back one email, one folder or a whole mailbox as it was before the problem.
Multi-factor authentication
Insurers ask about MFA more than anything else. During onboarding we turn it on for every licensed account, deal with the shared mailboxes and service accounts that usually get missed, and keep it on. ITDR then watches for the attacks MFA alone doesn't stop, like stolen session cookies.
Licences and administration
We resell Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace month to month and manage tenants through delegated partner access rather than shared admin passwords. Licences are billed separately from Protect Identity.
What it doesn't cover
- Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace licences themselves.
- Support time. Fixing problems and user requests are billed at $165 an hour, or included in a Complete Care agreement.
Questions
Doesn't Microsoft or Google already back up our data?
They keep the service running, but deleted items age out, and an attacker or a departing employee with access can delete a lot. A separate backup lets you restore from a point in time, even if the data was deleted on purpose.
We already have MFA. Do we still need ITDR?
Yes. Modern phishing kits steal the session after you sign in, MFA and all. ITDR looks for what happens next: logins from new countries, forwarding rules, and mailbox access that doesn't fit.
Can you manage our Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace licences?
Yes. We resell both month to month and administer the tenant through delegated partner access, so there are no shared admin passwords.
