Why it's worth doing
Applications ask yes-or-no questions about multi-factor authentication, endpoint detection, backups and logging. Insurers rely on those answers. If an answer turns out to be inaccurate, it can complicate a claim at the worst possible moment, so it pays to know before you sign. Your broker can tell you what that means for your policy; we can tell you what's true about your systems.
How to send your documents
Email your policy wording or declarations page and your latest application to insurance@kdts.ca. Include your firm's name and the renewal date if you know it. Everything you send is kept confidential and used only to prepare your review.
Important: we're an IT company, not an insurance broker or a lawyer. We don't advise on coverage, limits, exclusions or claims. We translate the security conditions into plain language and tell you whether your systems meet them.

Who is it for?
Firms with five or more staff that carry, or are being asked to carry, cyber insurance. It works whether or not you use another IT provider.
What should we send?
Your policy wording or declarations page, and your most recent application or renewal questionnaire. PDFs are fine. If you only have the application, start with that.
Will you tell us whether we're covered for something?
No. Coverage, limits, exclusions and claims are questions for your broker. We tell you what the security conditions require and whether your systems meet them.
